Leona is an up and comer at Complete Music. She has already wowed wedding planners and Bride's alike with her enthusiasm for the job and her ability to entertain crowds without being cheesy. The hardest working woman in the biz!


Describe your DJ style:

I am outgoing and love to dance! I read the crowd well to know what type of music to play and when. I also love connecting with the guests that night! When you know everyone, it's more fun and they have more fun when they know you're not just some person on the mic. Other than that, I go out of my way to help my clients out in any situation.


Favorite DJ Memory:

The bride told me that the groom wasn't going to do a Garter Toss. Little did she know that the Groom and I planned a surprise garter removal. The groom was a police officer and had his cop car out front and told me to get all the guests and the bride outside. When everyone went outside, he pulled up with his sirens going off. He got out of his vehicle and told the bride she was under arrest. He put his bride in handcuffs, handcuffed her to the chair and proceeded with the garter removal. Not only was everyone shocked, but the look on the brides face was priceless!



What is your favorite thing about being a DJ?

It changed my life. I know now how to be fun, but professional!  You can always count on me to pull of  a great party, make it run smoothly, and most of all it will be memorable for you and your guests.



What makes you unique/stand out as a DJ?

I know a lot of dances to different types of music and I care about everyone that is at my events. I am willing to go to crazy lengths to help ANYONE out. There was a guest with a bad knee and I ran to find him an ice pack and I brought it to him before dinner.



Favorite part of the night?

Doing FUN Icebreakers! I love getting out there and dancing with everyone! I even got a brides grandma to do Soulja Boy!



What is your favorite party song?

A tie between Shout, Cupid Shuffle, Get Low and Yeah! 



Why did  you become a DJ?

I love music and have an outgoing personality! Originally I was trying to be  a wedding singer, but DJing looked like so much more fun!



Fun Fact:

I speak Spanish fluently.
