How would you describe your “DJ Personality” or “DJ Style”?

I’m outgoing and funny, and I think I am very helpful. I’m obsessed with keeping people on the dance floor!


What is your favorite DJ memory? –or– What was the funniest thing to ever happen at an event?

I love it when impromptu things, like a random conga line, break out during the party. Recently, though, I had someone of the baby boomer generation do a somersault on the dance floor during “Shout.”


What is your favorite thing about being a DJ? –or– What is your proudest achievement as a DJ?

It’s definitely the smiles on a bride and grooms’ faces when, at the end of the night, they thank me for making their night special. I was born to serve others!


What makes you unique / stand out as a DJ? –or– What are your specialties as a DJ?

One of my strong points is building a good rapport with a bride and groom. I really like to get to know them and treat them like my own family so that I can give them the most perfect reception experience possible!


What is your favorite part of the night?

I get a thrill from both the start and the end of the night. Finally meeting the wedding party face-to-face and getting the crowd geared up for the night ahead both are such a rush. Also, seeing the smiles on faces at the end of the night gives me an incredible sense of accomplishment for a job well done.


What is your favorite party song?

I love “Start Me Up” by The Rolling Stones, though it’s certainly not a typical reception song. Lady Gaga’s “Teeth” has grown on me quite a bit of late, too.


Why did you become a DJ?

I absolutely adore music; that, coupled with my desire to serve people makes this the perfect gig for me!


List one fun fact about you most people do not know:

I am the fourth consecutive generation in my family to have my middle name... No, I won’t say what it is!
